Service Policies
Last updated: July 22, 2026
These are the standing policies behind every Big Dawg quote and appointment. Your written quote is the controlling document for your specific job; this page explains the rules it is built on.
Quoting and booking
- Every job is confirmed in writing by text from the vehicle, service, and condition information you provide. Photos are requested only when a condition sounds unusual.
- The confirmation states scope, exclusions, estimated time, price, and expiration.
- Standard jobs do not require a deposit. Larger commercial bookings may; we tell you before you book.
- Appointments are available seven days a week, by appointment only.
Maintenance Plan
The maintenance plan is a recurring inside-and-out visit at a reduced rate. The first visit for any new customer is a full detail at regular price; maintenance pricing begins on the following visit. Customers are billed per visit at the published maintenance rate. There is no contract, deposit, or stored payment method, and the plan can be canceled at any time by text.
A maintenance visit covers the foam pre-wash and hand wash, wheels, tires and tire finish, spray paint protection, a full vacuum, a wipe-down of the dash, console, doors and vents, and inside and outside glass. Carpet and upholstery shampoo, heavy staining, pet-hair removal, excess sand and debris, engine bay cleaning, and headlight restoration are not part of a maintenance visit and are quoted separately before work begins.
Maintenance rates correspond to visit frequency because a vehicle serviced more often requires less work. If the time since the last visit is longer than the chosen schedule, the visit is priced at the tier matching the actual gap. If a vehicle has gone long enough that it requires a full detail rather than a maintenance visit, that is identified and quoted before any additional work is performed.
Condition and location
Every confirmed total is one all-in price based on the vehicle size, the selected service, any agreed add-ons (pet-hair removal, excess sand/debris, heavy staining, engine bay cleaning, headlight restoration), and the service location. If anything changes after the arrival inspection, Big Dawg gives you the options and price before additional work begins — nothing is added without your approval.
Severe stains, odors, embedded hair, biohazards, caked mud, extraction, paint correction, and coatings are not available at launch or are individually assessed. If the arrival inspection finds a condition that was not described, we present the applicable add-on or option in writing and you approve it before work begins, or we complete the original scope.
Weather
If weather will not allow the job to be completed safely and to standard, we contact you to reschedule and your appointment transfers to the new date.
If we cannot proceed at your site
If the work area, utilities, or site rules prevent us from completing the planned service safely and legally, your options are: complete the authorized interior only at a revised total, move the vehicle to an approved work area, reschedule, or cancel at no charge.
Belongings and car seats
- Remove valuables, weapons, documents, and loose personal items before arrival.
- Child car seats are vacuumed out and the hard plastic is wiped down with water as part of interior work, at no charge. No chemicals are applied to harness straps, buckles or LATCH webbing. Big Dawg does not remove or reinstall a child seat; the customer does that. Heavily stained child-seat fabric falls under the heavy staining add-on.
Workmanship callback
Send photos of any workmanship concern within 48 hours of completion. We inspect promptly and correct concerns that are ours within the authorized scope.
Reviews
We ask satisfied customers for an honest review once. We never offer discounts, freebies, or contest entries in exchange for reviews, and we never post fake ones.
Do not contact
Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. We maintain a do-not-contact list and honor it for all promotional messages.
